At JWPHPT, our mission is to promote evidence-based practices, and as an Associate Editor, you will play a pivotal role. Responsibilities include leading manuscript reviews, contributing to strategic planning, and acting as a Journal Ambassador to foster connections and expand readership.
The ideal candidate is a licensed physical therapist with expertise in women's health and pelvic care, holding an Academic Doctorate with 3-5 peer-reviewed publications and prior manuscript review experience. - Peer Review Leadership: Select and invite reviewers, assess their responses, and provide recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief.
- Editorial Collaboration: Engage in editorial board meetings, contribute to strategic planning, and assist in reviewer training.
- Journal Advocacy: Act as a liaison, fostering connections with potential authors, readers, and reviewers. Encourage your colleagues to embrace and share the valuable content of JWPHPT.
Qualifications:
We are seeking an ideal candidate who:
- Is a licensed physical therapist with a specialization in women's and pelvic health.
- Holds an Academic Doctorate (PhD, EdD, DSc, etc.) with a proven track record of 3-5 peer-reviewed scholarly products.
- Possesses prior experience in reviewing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
