Do you teach in a CAPTE-accredited or developing program as faculty or as a guest speaker? If you do, please consider participating in a study investigating the specific lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning or queer, intersex, asexual (+ all inclusive; LGBTQ+) content and delivery methods within Commission for Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programs. Keep reading to learn more about how you can participate in this 10-minute survey.

LGBTQ+ Curricular Content and Delivery Methods in PT Education: A Faculty Survey

The purpose of our study is to investigate the specific lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning or queer, intersex, asexual (+ all inclusive; LGBTQ+) content and delivery methods within Commission for Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programs. We will be asking specific survey questions to determine the content and delivery methods currently being used. This study is the first step in developing best practice guidelines related to LGBTQ+ curriculum.
