Use of Chaperones Position Statement [REVISED]

After releasing its initial position statement, the Academy's Board of Directors invited feedback from members through a call for comments. We are grateful to our members for their valuable input, which included questions, concerns, suggested revisions, and insights from various practice settings our members represent. The Board carefully considered this feedback and incorporated it into the revised position statement, which will be subject to further updates in the future as new evidence emerges. Additionally, the Board has compiled a set of resources, including a sample chaperone training checklist, waiver forms, and more, to support our members in their work.
