Margaret Bronson Joins APTA Pelvic Health as Education Project Manager

The Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy is excited to announce that Margaret Kathleen Bronson, PT, DPT, Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist, will join our remote team as Education Project Manager in January 2025.

Margaret brings over 20 years of experience as a pelvic health physical therapist and is a recognized leader in advancing pelvic health education. As a member of the inaugural cohort for Board Certification in Women’s Health Physical Therapy (WCS), Margaret has continuously set the standard for excellence in clinical practice, education, and mentorship. She also holds a Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (CAPP-Pelvic).

With extensive expertise in residency development, curriculum mapping, and educational standards, Margaret has demonstrated a deep commitment to mentoring pelvic health professionals and advancing course content. Her passion lies in ensuring pelvic health physical therapy becomes the standard of care for all individuals. In her new role, Margaret will focus on enhancing the Academy’s CAPP program and identifying opportunities to expand and elevate the Academy’s educational offerings.

Margaret currently serves as the Supervisor of Women’s/Pelvic Health and Oncology Therapy Services and Women’s Health Residency Program Coordinator at Parkview Therapy Services in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In her current role, she leads a team of 13 therapists, oversees robust mentorship programs, and spearheaded the development and accreditation of the Parkview Women’s Health Residency. Her work includes designing its comprehensive didactic curriculum and integrated learning experiences, which have been integral to the program’s success.

Margaret also serves on the ABPTS Women’s Health Specialty Council, where she contributes to the oversight of the Board Certification in Women’s Health Physical Therapy (WCS).

Her unique combination of clinical expertise, administrative leadership, and educational innovation makes Margaret an invaluable addition to the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy team. We look forward to her contributions as she works to advance our mission and enhance the educational opportunities available to pelvic health professionals worldwide.
