*FREE Access* During Lipedema Awareness Month: Understanding the Whole Picture & Why Pelvic Health?
This webinar provides a brief introduction to lipedema, basic pathophysiology, differential diagnosis, current treatment tools, interventions and define research futures, needs and gaps. This webinar is specifically designed for the provider who wants to expand their knowledge, differential diagnostic skills and apply that to individualized treatment programs for patients with lipedema.
At the conclusion of the presentation, participants will:
- Obtain a basic understanding of research and diagnostic tools, outcome measures and quality of life questionnaires for musculoskeletal, incontinence and sexual dysfunction complaints in patients with lipedema
- Understand options for clinical treatment interventions including: therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques and use of compression garments
- Understand current research and gaps with a call to action for the physical therapy community to familiarize themselves with and become forerunners in the support of patients with lipedema.

About the Speaker
Tiffany Sudol Baker, PT, DPT, PhD(abd), CFMT, C.Ac., CPT-PES(NASM)
Physical Therapist, Adjunct Lecturer- Pelvic Health, Entrepreneur (Baker Physical Therapy)
Dr. Tiffany Sudol Baker specializes in men’s and women’s pelvic health, the treatment of vision and vestibular diagnoses, orthopedic rehabilitation, dance medicine, and chronic pain issues including dizziness, concussions, headache/migraine, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and temporomandibular joint disease (TMJ).
Tiffany is a former Broadway performer, NFL cheerleader, and competitive dance teacher with over 25 years of experience working in physical education. Tiffany holds an Associates in Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and Dance. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College in New York City, a certification in Acupuncture from Northern University, and an advanced certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University’s School of Medicine. She is currently eligible for her Doctorate in Philosophy in Physical Therapy (PhD(e)) from NOVA Southeastern University.
She has presented at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Section Meeting, the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science, and at Yale Maternal Fetal Medicine. She currently lectures at Hunter College and was an assistant at Mercy College in the Physical Therapy Department. When not working with patients and clients, you will find Tiffany spending time with her family, running, and practicing yoga.
