Help pass the Lymphedema Treatment Act in Congress

Posted By: Gail Heather Zitterkopf Practice & Advocacy,

On Wednesday, July 13th, the House Energy and Commerce Committee marked up several bills, including H.R. 3630, Lymphedema Treatment Act. This legislation would provide for Medicare coverage of lymphedema compression treatment items, primarily gradient compression garments. Currently standing at 356 bipartisan cosponsors, and having received a markup, the House is likely to vote on the Lymphedema Treatment Act by the end of the calendar year. APTA is a proud sponsor of this bill.
