We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our members who have recently been recognized for their exceptional contributions to the field of physical therapy:

  • Ebony Jackson Clark has been selected as the APTA Emerging Leader who has demonstrated extraordinary service and exceptional achievements early in her career.
  • Tracy Spitznagle has been honored with the APTA Social Impact Award for her impactful work and dedication to improving community health and well-being.
  • Jill Boissonault has achieved the prestigious APTA Catherine Worthingham Fellow Award, a testament to her significant contributions to the profession and her leadership in advancing physical therapy.
  • Meryl Alappattu has been spotlighted by the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) for her research, earning recognition in the Researcher Spotlight.
  • Laurel Proulx has received a $2.5 million grant from the Department of Defense to enhance pelvic care for women service members, a monumental step towards improving health outcomes for this important population.
