🌟 Spotlight on Pelvic Health PTs and PTAs

We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our members who have recently been recognized for their exceptional contributions to the field of physical therapy:

  • Lauren Van Valkenburgh, PT, DPT, received a 2025 Promotion of Doctoral Studies (PODS) Scholarship from the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research.
  • Ingrid Harm-Ernandes, PT, Board-Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialist, on being awarded the 2025 Q4 Cross-Disciplinary Ambassador Scholarship.
  • Amanda Olson, PT, DPT, PRPC, on being awarded the 2025 Q2 Cross-Disciplinary Ambassador Scholarship.
  • Patricia Marie King, PT, PhD, was recognized as a Catherine Worthingham Fellow by APTA National for her extraordinary contributions to the profession.
  • Raquelle Geneviève Hafen, PT, DPT, was selected to receive the 2025 PT Capitol Hill Day Scholarship by APTA National.
  • Mary Austin, PT, DPT, of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, was awarded the $40,000 Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Research Grant.
  • Class of 2025 Board-Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialists who have demonstrated a deep understanding of foundational, behavioral, and clinical sciences, as well as exceptional skills in client and practice management. Congratulations to the 90 newly Board-Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialists (Class of 2025)!
  • 2025 Cohort of Physical Therapists who have earned their Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health or Obstetric Physical Therapy (CAPP) and completed a series of comprehensive evidence-based education courses, written and clinical testing at each level, and a rigorously reviewed written case report. 95 therapists have earned their certificate in 2025!
