Meet with the Male Health Special Interest Group and Early-Professional Special Interest Group to ask your questions on how to start treating male pelvic health, what courses to take, what to do when things don't go as planned, etc! New and seasoned clinicians all welcome.

This webinar will be a Q&A panel format with the MSIG and EPSIG on treating male pelvic patients. This webinar is designed for clinicians wanting to start treating male identifying patients or clinicians that just started treating male identifying patients. All questions are welcome. Potential subjects are how to start treating male pelvic health, what courses to take/start with, brief clinical pearls, and what to expect while treating male patients.

Matthew Harville, PT, DPT, Board-Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialist, Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner

matt harville Matt Harville is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health and has a primary clinical focus in the treatment of pelvic health conditions for all ages and genders and the treatment of lymphedema. Currently, he is a Faculty Development Resident at Duke University. He earned bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Forensic Biology in 2010 from Virginia Commonwealth University. Later, after working as a scientist for several years, he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, VA.

Dr. Harville has experience working in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings. He has a keen interest in men’s health, HIV/AIDS rehab, and health equity.

Dr. Harville is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He has served in various special interest group board positions with the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy and the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy. He also serves as chair of the HIV/AIDS special interest group with the World Physiotherapy International Physical Therapists for HIV/AIDS, Oncology, Palliative Care Empowerment (IPT-HOPE) subgroup.

In his spare time, Dr. Harville supports a feral cat colony in Durham, NC, likes to cook vegan food, and enjoys a good nap.

Jessica Delgado, PT, DPT, Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner
unnamed.jpg She went into the field of physical therapy to become a pelvic health physical therapist as it is her passion. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from West Coast University, Los Angeles. She was the 2018 Norton School of Lymphedema scholarship recipient, where she received her certification in lymphedema management and focuses those skills on management of genital lymphedema. Prior experience includes independently designing and launching the men's pelvic health physical therapy program for the Kaiser Permanente Greater Southern Alameda County. She regularly provides pelvic health lectures to various departments within Kaiser Permanente and various Physical Therapy Assistant programs. She is currently in the process of obtaining her CAPP-OB Certification through the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Chad Woodard, PT, PhD, DPT, Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, RMMS, RMCP, CMPT, CSCS, FRCms 

Photo of Chad E. Woodard Dr. Chad boasts expertise across multiple paradigms, making him a widely sought after physiotherapist, coach and speaker in the NYC area as well as international markets.

Earning his first doctorate degree in 2009 (Doctorate of Physical Therapy) and his second doctorate in 2016 (PhD in Health Sciences), strengthened by numerous specialty certifications from the most prestigious educational sources across the world, his educational background demonstrates mastery in the fields he represents. Dr. Chad also conducts research and holds publications in the fields of endurance athletics and the treatment of men with pelvic floor dysfunction earning him international recognition. As a clinician he specializes in treating men's health at his NYC clinic location and online.

Chad is also a competitive athlete. After several years as a musical theatre performer, he began his journey as an endurance athlete having competed in multiple marathons, several Ironman triathlons, Ultraman Florida and other extreme endurance events.

His passion as an entrepreneur and educator fuel a constant desire for growth and knowledge, and to share that with his audience. Dr. Chad thrives while speaking on stage and holding live virtual coaching events and podcast spots. Living a fulfilled life of movement and balance, and offering the same to his patients and community build the foundation of his own personal mission.

Holly Tanner, PT, DPT, MA, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women's Health, Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner, Licensed Massage Practitioner 

Tanner_MiaJPhoto_WEB-1+Smaller.jpg Holly Tanner is a licensed physical therapist and massage therapist with specialty practice in the field of pelvic health. From the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) in Duluth, Minnesota, she earned her undergraduate degree in health sciences, Master of Arts in physical therapy, and a transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She has served as adjunct faculty at St. Scholastica as well as at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.

As the director of education for the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, Holly has managed and developed curriculum and faculty training and was the coordinator for the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification writing. She has authored many courses, including in the peripartum series and the Men's Pelvic Health course. She has presented at the state and national level, and Holly has taught in several countries including Nepal, Israel, and Ireland.

She owns a clinical practice in Seattle, Washington, as well as a consulting company, Tanner Therapies. She has been teaching in the field of pelvic health for nearly 25 years and has mentored dozens of clinicians and students. Holly has held ABPTS board certifications in orthopedics and women's health, as well as certification as an APTA Clinical Instructor.

Early-Professional SIG Directors

Sha'Rose Erion, PT, DPT

sharoseerion.jpeg Dr. Sha'Rose Erion is a pelvic floor physical therapist and the owner of Rose Pelvic Physiotherapy, an award-winning clinic specializing in care for marginalized communities. Passionate about providing holistic and affirming treatment, Dr. Erion is a recognized expert in her field, with contributions to various publications and a strong track record of public speaking. She's also a world record holder and was honored as a Huntsville Business Journal's 2024 Top 40 Under 40.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Erion is a certified business coach, empowering BIPOC and LGBTQ+ creatives and service providers to overcome mindset blocks and achieve business growth. She is also a director of the APTA EPSIG, contributing to the advancement of pelvic floor physical therapy.

A Florida native with a deep love for the Miami Dolphins and diverse cuisine, Dr. Erion holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine. She's also sought advanced training in manual physiotherapy in Queensland, Australia.

She is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients and the broader community.

Katelyn Weber, PT, DPT

IMG_3027.jpeg Katelyn Weber is a pelvic floor physical therapist. She graduated from Carroll University in 2023 with her doctorate in Physical Therapy. She always knew she wanted to pursue pelvic health as a specialty, and accepted a job right out of college as a full time pelvic floor therapist treating the male and female population. Katelyn began treating men who needed pelvic floor therapy for post-op prostatectomy care and realized she loved this population.

Today, she is a pelvic floor physical therapist for all genders for Aurora Health Care in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, Jet, and her two cats, Maeve and Dansby. She enjoys reading and will do anything for a good iced coffee. 

Raquelle Hafen, PT, DPT
Raquelle Hafen is a recent graduate from California State University, Long Beach. She is passionate about all things pelvic health, especially as it relates to maternal and sexual health. She currently works at an outpatient hospital-based pelvic setting in southern California.
