Professional Bio
Sara is a doctor of physical therapy, earning her Bachelor's of Science in 2004 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2007 from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a board-certified women’s health and pelvic floor therapist specializing in the treatment of pelvic floor muscle dysfunction in men and women. She is a TedX Presenter, recipient of the 2019 Alumni Achievement Award from Washington University in St Louis’ Program in Physical Therapy, and was named one of New Orleans’ Top 40 under 40 young professionals in 2019. She is a mom to two boys, wife, Saints fan and wanna-be yogi.

NOLA Pelvic Health is the only physical therapy practice in the New Orleans area committed to treating solely pelvic health, pregnancy, and postpartum clients. Sara is a Board Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialist in practice for over a decade. She treats men and women with pelvic floor dysfunction including urinary and bowel issues, pelvic pain including painful intercourse, pregnancy and postpartum related issues, and males with pelvic pain, urinary or bowel dysfunction or post-prostatectomy symptoms. She uses manual therapy techniques in addition to exercise, yoga, meditation and trigger point dry needling to help patients with pelvic health conditions.
