Pelvic Health (CAPP-Pelvic)
Pelvic Health (CAPP-Pelvic)
Certificate Program for Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA)
Advance your expertise in pelvic health physical therapy.
The Certificate of Advanced Practice in Physical Therapy in Pelvic Health (CAPP-Pelvic) represents the Academy’s gold standard for advanced training in pelvic health physical therapy.
This certificate recognizes PTs and PTAs who complete a rigorous Academy pathway that includes evidence-based coursework, written and clinical testing, and a reviewed PT Case Reflection or PTA Treatment Reflection. The required coursework is evidence-based and is continually reviewed and updated by the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy's CAPP-Pelvic Editorial Panel to reflect the latest research and clinical best practices.

Improved Skills
Throughout this certification, I have improved my skills as an orthopedic PT with greater knowledge and understanding to better treat low back pain, pelvic girdle pain, and other hip diagnoses.
Feeling Equipped
The instructors for every course in the CAPP process have been incredible! Each has been so knowledgeable and so passionate about what they do. The CAPP process equipped me very well for clinical practice in pelvic health.
Critical Thinking
The CAPP program is hands down the best pelvic health education program out there. I feel incredibly prepared to treat any condition that comes into the clinic, and if it's a rare diagnosis, I know I have the resources and, most importantly, the critical thinking skills to work through what I am seeing.
