Host an In-Person Course
for universities, hospitals, large outpatient clinic facilities
Do you work at a university, hospital, physical therapy training center or a large outpatient clinic? Consider hosting an in-person course at your facility! We are now accepting applications through July 2021 for the 2022 course schedule.  To host a course, you will need to designate an On-Site Coordinator, ensure your facility is in close proximity to the airport and host venue, ensure there is adequate meeting space (lecture and lab space) and equipment available (plinths, projector, linens, other supplies). Hosting is a great opportunity for you to get more involved in our profession and spread the word about it within your community.
  • Receive FREE physical therapy training – In exchange for hosting, you may receive 1-2 complimentary course registrations
  • Establish or strengthen presence – Establish a stronger presence for pelvic health physical therapy on your university campus or hospital.
  • Build your professional network – Physical therapy professionals who attend Academy courses come from all over the nation and the world
  • Increase access – By hosting a course at your facility, you are opening doors to other regional physical therapy professionals for them to get the needed training to better serve their patients and their communities.
Develop a New Course
for educators
We are committed to promoting quality education for physical therapy professionals. We regularly seek new course authors to submit existing courses or consider developing a new course through the Academy! You do not have to work in academia to submit a course proposal. In fact, many of our current instructors are not only academicians working at universities and training facilities but also treat patients full-time while staying up-to-date on the latest evidence, research and best practice. Our Academy team will help guide you through the submission, review and revision process. We are now accepting course proposals for 2022!
  • Book a 15-Minute Consultation – Learn about the course development and review process, pitch a course topic idea before submitting a formal proposal
  • Share (and monetize) new evidence, your expertise, skills – Monetize your existing course by offering it through the Academy!
  • Improve your educator skills – Get your course materials reviewed by a skilled review committee and ensure it is up to standards
  • Engage with physical therapy professionals and academicians – Build your network and build new skills by learning from fellow professionals and academicians
