Erica is a nationally board-certified physical therapist specializing in men’s and women’s pelvic health and oncology rehabilitation. Erica began her career at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland leading and building out their Pelvic Health Program, the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program and their Oncology Rehabilitation Program, before relocating with her family to Nashville in 2013.
Erica then joined St. Thomas Health System where she developed a comprehensive Oncology Rehabilitation Program and Pelvic Health care practice for men and women in the Nashville metro-area. In addition to providing clinical care at all of the St Thomas medical centers city-wide, Erica also travels throughout the country for the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Pelvic Health lecturing and training fellow physical therapists in the pelvic health specialty, evidence informed practice, and proper patient care. In addition, she serves on the Academy’s Pelvic Health Committee, which writes and updates the course materials used to certify pelvic health therapists.
Erica attended the University of Evansville for her undergraduate and Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, then completed a transitional Doctorate program at Virginia Commonwealth University while working full time in Baltimore. Erica is married with four children. When she is not spending time with her family or reading medical literature for her teaching job, she enjoys reading, playing the ukulele, and laughing.
