The Journal of Women’s and Pelvic Health Physical Therapy editorial team appreciates new leadership as a natural part of career advancement. The team is deeply grateful to Mary Dockter, PT, PhD, Senior Editor and Rita Gillan, PT, DPT, Digital Media Editor for their years of dedicated service to the journal. Words seem inadequate to express our measure of thanks to Mary and Rita for their contributions to the growth and success of JWPHPT. Here are their thoughts.Â
It has been a privilege and honor to have served on the Journal Editorial Board for the past 5 years under Cindy’s outstanding leadership and innovation, as well as the rest of the team’s dedication and passion for pelvic health research. While I am stepping away from the role of senior editor to dedicate more time to my position as Academic Dean, I look forward to observing the continued progression of the Journal and have full confidence the board will enhance and grow the journal to meet the ever-changing practice of pelvic health physical therapy. Mary Dockter, PT, PhD

I am grateful to the volunteers who have participated in the Digital Media Committee and the Academy for their forward thinking and collaboration which continues to shape the Journal’s evolution as an important source of evidence for global leaders in the field. As I move on from my role, I am eager to welcome our incoming Digital Media Editor, Rebecca Maidansky, who brings professional experience and a spark of creativity to continue to enhance engagement. Keep on sharing, submitting, and learning with the JWPHPT! Rita Gillan, PT, DPT
